St. Tammany Fire District #6 (Lee Road Fire Department)serves the Lee Road, Blond, and Union Grove communities, which is located North of Covington. Lee Road Fire Dept. covers roughly 63 square miles of rural area and averages 650 calls a year with Medical calls of service being the highest response. With our Central Fire Station (Station 61) located in the heart of Barker's Corner, Lee Road FIre Department is a combination department of both career and reserve members. Currently, the agency has 2 full time career firefighters, 20 part time members, and 25 reserves. Roughly 90% of these members live within the District and are able to responde at a moments notice if more staffing is needed in an emergency. The Lee Road Fire Department has the lowest annual operating budget of all Fire agencies in St. Tammany Parish, but do not let that fool you, we strive to do the most with the least. We will always be there when we are called.
